Don’t forget that you will have to add a little slack (between 2 and 6 cm) to the horizontal measurements you take, so that the garment is not too tight, the child is comfortable and you have some margin in case he/she grows before the event.
For example, if the chest circumference is 59 cm, it would be necessary to add 4 cm of clearance to that measurement, so the size would be calculated with a chest circumference of 63 cm. Once you have taken the measurements, in each of the products you have a table where you can see the corresponding size.
Can size changes be made?
You will be able to make a size change as long as you have not customized the product in terms of design or size. If you have chosen an original Quémono design and a standard size, there will be no problem to change it.
You will have 30 days to change the size from the moment you receive the order. The exchange is totally free for orders over 100€, while for orders under 100€ you will have to pay the shipping cost. Remember that in order to exchange the size you must return the product unused and in the same condition in which you received it.
In case you have customized the productand you want to change the size, you will have to contact us so that we can evaluate your case and pay for the repair. In these cases, shipping will also be free of charge for orders over 100€.
My son/daughter is over 15 years old, do you make clothes for those sizes?
Yes, on the web you have clothes available up to size 16 for communion and up to size 18 for ceremony. However, if you think your child may not fit any of these sizes, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will make a custom dress for you. We know that every body is unique and standard sizes are sometimes not what you are looking for.

Custom orders cannot be returned, and you will not have as many facilities to change the size in case you need to. To make it as easy as possible for you, please contact us so that we can recommend a size and a dress or suit whose standard size is as close as possible to the measurements you are looking for.
I want to make a customization but I don't know how it will look.
It is normal that it is difficult to get an idea of how the personalization is going to look. That is why when you ask us for customization we often send you an approximate image of what the customization will look like. We will send you the original dress modified with Photoshop or a drawing of the customization on a figurine. You can also come to the showroom so we can show you how some customizations would look like based on the base dress and dresses that have sleeves or skirt similar to your customization. We will guide you to ensure that the customizations you choose are appropriate to what you are looking for and are flattering to your child in our experience.
In addition, you can ask us to send you fabric samples to see how the fabric feels and the real color of the fabric you want. You can also come to the showroom so we can show you the fabrics.
Do you do alterations on dresses or suits?
Although we usually make alterations only on Quémono dresses, sometimes we also make alterations for our clients on emotionally charged garments or other garments that require couture work. You can request that we send you fabric samples before you place your order so that you can make your decision more easily. You can also order fabric samples with your order so that we can send you the fabric shortly after you place your order and you can choose the shoes and other matching accessories without waiting for the dress to be made.
You will be able to choose two options: a maximum of 3 fabric samples for 5 euros (shipping included), or a maximum of 6 samples for 7 euros. If you want us to send you samples before you place your order, you have 3 extra days to add to your calendar (during these days we will send you the fabric).

How far in advance should I place my order? Delivery times

Returns and exchanges
Exchanges and returns: process and conditions
You will be able to exchange the product as long as you have not customized it in terms of design or size. If you have chosen an original Quémono design and a standard size, there will be no problem to change it. To make exchanges easier, we recommend that you fix the bottom of the garment at home after receiving the product and confirming the size; this way you will avoid making customizations.
In case the product is customized, you will not be able to return it, although we will be able to make adjustments on the dress.
For orders over 100€ from the Iberian Peninsula, returns and exchanges are free of charge. In case the order is less than 100€ you will have to pay the shipping costs for both exchanges and returns. If you want to make a return, we will refund the full amount of the order except for shipping costs, express and urgent supplements.
For returns and exchanges, simply send us an email to pedidos@quemono.org with the request. We will send the courier to your home to pick up the product and we will refund the corresponding money once the product has arrived at our offices and it is confirmed that it is in good condition. You can also ship with a courier of your choice.

Do I need cancan?
It is generally recommended, but it depends on the dress. The cancan not only gives flight to the dress so that it has more body and more presence. It also gives the girl more freedom of movement, preventing her from tripping over the dress, thus greatly increasing the comfort of the outfit. Our cancanes are lightweight and have no underwire, molding perfectly to the body when moving or sitting. You can also ask us to advise you if it is necessary or important to use a cancan for a specific dress.
How to wash a communion dress
To ensure error-free laundering, it is advisable to take the dress to the dry cleaner.
In case you still want to wash the communion dress at home, we recommend you to pay attention to the fabrics that compose it. Dresses made of organza or tulle should not be washed at home under any circumstances. On the other hand, for linen or cotton fabrics, although washing it at home does not guarantee that the dress will not spoil, you will have two options:
- Hand wash with cold water and neutral detergent.
- Wash it in the washing machine in a delicate program without spin in a white cotton bag to prevent the fabric from getting caught in the drum of the washing machine. The washing machine load should be reduced to the dress and bag only, with no other garments.
As for drying, do not spin-dry or twist the garment to wring it out. The garment should be left to dry on a flat surface and not hung to dry.
How to store my communion dress?
